MBR membranes are commonly used in the construction or upgrading of urban wastewater treatment plants. They achieve high treatment efficiency with a relatively small footprint, producing effluent that meets reclaimed water standards and can be used for municipal greening, road washing, or landscape water replenishment, making them particularly suitable for large urban areas with limited land resources.

 

MBR membranes are suitable for treating high-concentration or recalcitrant wastewater from industries such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and electronics. Due to the high sludge concentration and strong shock resistance within the system, they can more stably treat industrial wastewater with significant quality fluctuations while meeting stringent discharge requirements or reuse standards.

 

MBR membranes also offer advantages in greywater reuse and decentralized treatment scenarios. For example, on-site wastewater treatment systems in residential communities, schools, hotels, and airports can utilize MBR technology to purify wastewater on-site and reuse it for toilet flushing, greening, or landscaping, thereby improving water resource utilization efficiency.
