PES Ultrafiltration Membrane

PES stands for polyethersulfone. This material loves water. Water goes through it very fast. So a PES ultrafiltration membrane has a high flow rate. It also handles heat well. It can take temperatures up to 120 degrees. Our PES membrane comes in a column type. The filtration form is inside-out. That means water flows from the inside of the strands to the outside. Dirt gets trapped inside. Clean water comes out through the wall. This is a simple design that works well for many years.

Let me explain what inside-out means for you. Water enters the hollow center of each strand. It travels down the length of the strand. Clean water pushes out through the membrane wall. The dirt stays inside the strand. Then we flush that dirt away. This product works best for water that is already fairly clean. Think of tap water, well water, or river water before treatment. The flow speed is fast. The membrane does not clog easily. The outside shell is made of UPVC. That material is strong and does not rust.
