How Is This Different from the Pleated Filter
You might look at product 44 and product 45 and ask a question. Both are PP. Both have 1 to 20 micron precision. Both are high flow. The difference is the structure. Product 44 is a pleated filter. Product 45 can be pleated or melt blown. We make both kinds. You tell us which structure you want. We will make it for you. Some customers like pleated. Some like melt blown. We do not force one on you. You pick what works for your device.

What Is a Melt Blown PP Cartridge
A melt blown pp microfilter cartridge is a white cylinder. The process melts PP material. Then it sprays fine fibers onto a spinning drum. The fibers are randomly arranged. They form a maze of paths. Water flows from the outside to the inside. Particles get trapped in the maze. This filter is cheap. But the surface area is smaller than pleated. So the dirt holding capacity is lower. It is good for low volume water. Home water filters often use melt blown as the first or second stage.
Which One Do You Make
We make both kinds. Pleated pp microfilter cartridge and melt blown. Pleated costs more. But it lasts longer. You change it less often. Melt blown costs less. But you change it more often. Which one is better for you? That depends on your budget and how often you want to change filters. We give you advice. But the final choice is yours. We have been making both kinds for 14 years. The quality is good on both. Every cartridge gets checked for appearance and size before it leaves our factory. You will not get any bad surprises.
