A Module Is the Finished Product You Install
The name "reverse osmosis module" sounds a bit technical. But it is just the name for a finished RO membrane. It is a cylinder shape. The outside is a fiberglass shell. Inside is the spiral wound membrane sheet and spacers. The ends have caps and seals. You put this product into a pressure vessel. Then you connect the pipes. That is it. The size is 8040. The material is aromatic polyamide composite. This is the standard size and material used all over the world.

Module vs Sheet What Is the Difference
A membrane sheet is a flat piece. A reverse osmosis module is a finished product. If you buy a sheet, you need to wind it yourself. You need to pot the ends yourself. You need to put on the outer shell. That requires special equipment and skills. It is easy to make mistakes. We suggest that most customers buy the finished module. We have been doing this for 14 years. We have the right equipment. Our workers have the right skills. We test every module before it leaves. You can install it and use it right away. No extra work for you.
What Sizes of Modules Can You Make
We mainly make the 8040 size. This is the most common size for industrial use. Eight inches in diameter. Forty inches long. One 8040 product has about 30 to 40 square meters of membrane area. It produces about 1 to 2 tons of water per hour. Do you need more water? Connect several modules in a row. Do you need a smaller size? We also make the 4040 size. Four inches in diameter. Forty inches long. This size is used in home units and small commercial units. Tell us your needs. We will give you the right modules for your system.
