Flat Sheet MBR Membrane

Curtain MBR membranes are soft like cloth. The product are hard like boards. Each piece of this is a rigid plate. There is a support layer in the middle. Both sides have PVDF membrane material. Water gets pulled from both sides. Clean water goes through to the middle channel. Then it flows out. This structure is very strong. Hollow fiber membranes can sometimes break a strand. Flat sheet membranes have no strands. So there is nothing to break.

Do you have waste water with many fibers in it? Things like hair, paper bits, or cotton lint. These fibers can wrap around the strands of a curtain membrane. Then the membrane gets tangled and stops working. A flat sheet MBR membrane has a smooth surface. Fibers cannot wrap around it. The air bubbles easily wash them away.
